Elephants unconscious after drinking alcohol in India

 انڈیا کے ملک اڑیسہ کےایک  جنگل میں 24 ہاتھی شراب پی کر کئی گھنٹے سوتے رہے۔

جب گاؤں کے لوگ جنگل میں شراب بنانے گئے تو انہوں نے دیکھا کہ ہاتھیوں کا ایک گروہ گہری نیند سو رہا ہے۔

 گاؤں والے کہتے ہیں کہ 24 ہاتھی سو رہے ہیں، ان کے قریب ہی وہ مرتبان پڑے تھے جس میں پانی بھر کر نشہ آور پھولوں کا عرق نکالنے کے لیے ڈالا جاتا ہے تاکہ اس کو دیسی شراب میں استعمال کیا جاسکے۔

دیہاتیوں نے کہا کہ ہم صبح  جنگل گئے تو دیکھا کہ تمام مرتبان ٹوٹے ہوئے تھے اور ان میں موجود پانی بھی غائب تھا۔

لوگوں کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم نے دیکھا کہ ساتھ ہی٢٤  ہاتھی سوئے پڑے ہیں، تو ہم سمجھ گئے انہوں نے نشہ آور شراب کو پی لیا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ  شراب مکمل طور پر ابھی  تیار بھی نہیں ہوئی تھی، ہم نے ہاتھیوں کو اٹھانے کی کوشش کی لیکن وہ نہیں اٹھے۔

محکمہ جنگلات کے اہلکاروں نے ہاتھیوں کو جگانے کے لیے ڈھول پیٹے، جاگنے کے بعد ہاتھی جنگل میں چلے گئے۔

محکمہ جنگلات کے افسر نے کہا کہ ہمیں نہیں معلوم کہ ہاتھی واقعی وہ نشہ آور عرق پی کر مدہوش ہوئے تھے یا نہیں، ہوسکتا ہے وہ بس ویسے ہی سو رہے ہوں۔

When the people of the nearby village went to make wine in the forest, they saw a herd of elephants fast asleep.

In the Shalipada forest, the villagers saw 24 elephants sleeping, near them were the jars filled with water to extract the extract of the intoxicating flowers for use in the indigenous liquor.

The villagers said that we went to the forest at 6 in the morning and saw that all the jars were broken and the water in them was missing.

They said that we saw that the elephants were sleeping, so we understood that they had drunk the intoxicating water.

He said that that country liquor was not even fully prepared, we tried to lift the elephants but they did not wake up, so informed the forest department.

The forest department officials beat the drums to wake up the elephants, after waking up the elephants went into the forest.

The forest department officer said that we do not know whether the elephants were really intoxicated by drinking the drug or not, maybe they were just sleeping.
